This is an anchor in which the bolt diameter is equal to the diameter of the installation hole. This is a significant difference from other concrete anchors that are set in a drilled hole, in that a true drop-in requires the minimum amount of concrete removal. Installation time is consequently faster, and the snug fit of the bolt in the hole over its total length provides additional strength.
